Founded in 1867 by Pavel Michailovitch Kousmichoff in Saint Petersburg, Kusmi quickly became one of the most famous Russian firms, supplying the czars’ court with high quality tea blends. In a few years’ time, the company developed in Europe: London, Berlin and Paris in 1917.
Founder’s son Viatcheslav, forced into exile during the October Revolution, established the Parisian headquarters at 75 avenue Niel.
Since then, Kusmi Tea settled down in many places from New-York to Tokyo, much to the delight of experts and gourmets.
