社區藝術家管弦樂團成立於2013年，為香港首隊以街頭演奏古典音樂為主的非牟利管弦樂團,以社區為本,透過集合眾多熱愛音樂並具備豐富合奏演出經驗的年青藝術家，用音樂服務社會, 於社區及教育場所推廣本地古典音樂文化。此外，樂團旨在通過提供年輕的音樂人才的室樂培訓，以促進音樂學生和公眾對室樂的認知及其普及性。樂團積極鼓勵本地創作，並有望能改變本土文化。
Hong Kong Community Philharmonic Orchestra
The Hong Kong Community Philharmonic Orchestra (HKCPO) was founded in 2013. The orchestra aims at promoting classical music in schools and community by gathering a group of enthusiastic young musicians who are well experienced in orchestral performance. In addition, The HKCPO aims at promoting ensembleship to the music students and the public by providing young music talents with training on ensembleship. The HKCPO encourages local creativity and music production and try our best to altering the music culture in Hong Kong.
